INTERSCHUTZ Hannover is the world’s leading trade fair for fire protection, rescue services, civil protection, safety and security. It brings together leading international industry players to showcase innovations and network with one another, with the shared goal of actively safeguarding our safety and securing our future.

In June 2026, INTERSCHUTZ will once again offer exhibitors and visitors an unparalleled global industry summit. As in previous editions, fire protection, rescue and fire prevention will remain the major highlights of the event. Industry forums will be held around three key themes of the sector, providing opportunities for in-depth discussion and exchange.

As an international flagship exhibition for rescue services, fire prevention and disaster reduction, safety and security, INTERSCHUTZ Hannover serves as a first-class information resource for security experts, safety officers and safety engineers, as well as an ideal platform for security and safety equipment suppliers to present their products.

The fair continuously refines its product categories to deliver greater professional insights and market opportunities. It showcases the latest technologies, trends and services for protection, prevention, rescue and accident early warning. Visitors will also discover state-of-the-art technical assistance systems, monitoring and surveillance solutions, and communications equipment.

At the exhibition, there will be a simulated bus accident with numerous casualties, where the fire brigade will carry out rescue operations at height using a new 60-ton fire crane — a special demonstration even for fire experts. On the final day of the previous edition, which was open to the public, the fire brigade, police, emergency medical teams and aid organizations conducted continuous live demonstrations in the open-air exhibition area, giving the public a true insight into the work and missions of public safety professionals.Against the backdrop of increasing natural disasters and humanitarian crises, and after a seven-year hiatus, the exhibition covered an area of 80,000 square meters across 8 halls, featuring 1,300 exhibitors and showcasing over 2,600 products. A total of 85,000 visitors from 61 countries and regions flocked to the Hannover exhibition grounds for the six-day event, with the majority hailing from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and France.
