Techtextil Frankfurt is one of the largest and most important nonwovens and technical textiles exhibitions worldwide, organized by Messe Frankfurt GmbH, Germany, and held biennially in Frankfurt. The exhibition focuses on technical textiles and nonwovens, showcasing innovations across 12 major application areas including fiber materials, functional fabrics, and smart textiles, covering high-tech sectors such as industry, medical care, construction, automotive, and aerospace.
The 2024 edition attracted 36,000 visitors and 1,473 exhibitors. The 2026 event is expected to further expand in scale, establishing itself as a global core platform for industrial chain collaboration and technical exchange.
It covers the entire industrial chain of products and technologies, including:nonwovens production equipment,processing technologies,fiber raw materials,functional textiles,composite materials,coating technologies,bonding technologies,smart textiles,eco-friendly recycled materials,medical and protective products,acoustic insulation fibers for construction,automotive interior materials,technical textiles for aerospace,textile chemicals and dyes,sewing and processing equipment,nanotechnology,microsystems technology,testing instruments,among others.
Frankfurt International Exhibition for Textiles and Flexible Materials Sewing and Processing.The Chinese pavilion featured 124 exhibitors, located across 7 halls of the two fairs, with a total exhibition area of 2,095 square meters.Its exhibits included fibers, yarns, coated fabrics, functional fabrics, nonwovens and related equipment, as well as a full range of products such as sewing machinery, cutting equipment and embroidery machines.In terms of both the number of exhibitors and exhibition scale, the Chinese pavilion reached a record high.
